Google Analytics Tools is very important for SEO. Now I shall discuss about this important matter. Lets we know:

How to add Google Analytics to website or blog?

This article is part of a series called Start a money making blog that will teach you how to start your own blog and begin making money blogging. You can read the whole series on the Start a money making blog series page.

Why we use Google Analytics Tools in our website or blog?

We use Google Analytics Tools in our website or blog to know who visits our blog, where they came from, how they got there, and what articles your visitors like to view will become critical information for you as our blog begins to grow and we begin to try to earn side income from our blog.

Really this information is fun and exciting.  It’s great a way to see our blogs traffic start at zero and slowly grow over time as you publish more articles and promote our blog.     There are many tools are available to monitor and track traffic coming to your blog, but this tools is very effective and free tool is Google Analytics.  Google Analytics allows our website or blogs sites  view information about our blog’s traffic at level ZERO.

How to add Google Analytics to website or blog?

Here are some simple way  to add Google Analytics to website or blog. Please follow this rules Step by Step.

Step 1: Signing up for Google Analytics. Its is easy and free. To Signing up Google Analytics Click here.   Note: Click on the link that says: “Sign up now”.  If you have a Google account (Gmail Account), just enter your Google account by entering your ID and Password.  If  do not have a Google account (Gmail Account), click on the link that says: “Create an account now“.  You must have a Google account in order to utilize / understand Google Analytics.

Step 2 :  If it’s your first time using Google Analytics then before you get your nifty tracking script you will need to answer a couple of questions and accept Google’s terms of service. The first page will ask for your Website URL as seen below:     Enter your Website’s URL in the www.yourdomain.com format Enter your Account Name  (For Account Name enter in whatever you want to call your website or project. And finally select the correct Time Zone of your area then click continue .

Step 3:  When you’re done, click continue. Then you will be be asked to enter in your contact information. Fill it correctly and accept Google Analytics’s user agreement or terms and conditions,  Accept it.

Step 4: After you agree to Google’s terms of service you finally see your nifty tracking code for the specific website URL you previously entered. Now copy the code snippet and go to Step 3 to learn how to install this code snippet on your site.

Step 5: Add your tracking code in your website:

It is very very important step for you, the one that will install the Google Analytics to your site and allow Analytics to begin pulling and tracking data for you. If you are running the Thesis theme, installing the Analytics code is easy, here’s how:

  1.     Copy the code and “Paste this code on your site” section
  2.     Login to your blog’s administration console
  3.     In the Thesis section, select Site Options.
  4.     Under Site Options click on the plus sign next to Stat and Tracking scripts.
  5.     Paste the the code in the Stat and Tracking scripts text box and click on the green save button.

Now return to the Google Analytics page and click Save and Finish.   If you are not running Thesis , you can either manually insert the Analytics code at the bottom of your Theme’s code or use a plugin,  I would recommend a plugin if you aren’t technical.  The plugin I recommend using is Simple Google Analytics. Just install the plugin, activate it, then visit the Settings.

Simple Google Analytics Settings menu in your WordPress admin console.(Only for WordPress) Here you will fine a blank box to entered Google Analytics ID. Now enter your code here.

Add Site Speed Tracking to codeLeave this set to the default. Is your blog a sub-domainAgain, leave this set to the default. DomainEnter the domain for your site.  For example, this site is: sideincomeblogging.com.  Leave off the http:// and the www.yourdominname.com Click  Save Changes and your Analytics code is installed!

Finally: Verifying your Analytics installation It will take a few hours for Analytics to begin working.  You can verify that your site is working and tracking traffic correctly by returning to Google Analytics a few hours later and logging in.  If you site is working there will be a green check box in the status column next to your site.   or  If it’s not working, there will be a red mark or a yellow caution mark indicating tracking is still being set-up.  If your site has a red status, follow the plugin set-up instructions again.  Double check your ID and domain name.

Hope you have learn easily and successfully good by.

  4. Everything said was very reasonable. But, what about this?
what if you were to write a awesome headline? I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your
blog, however what if you added a headline that makes
people want more? I mean A Guide to Google Analytics Tools for Beginners and Advanced (Step by Step ) is kinda vanilla.
You should peek at Yahoo’s home page and note how they write news titles to get people
to click. You might add a video or a picture or two to get people excited about everything’ve
got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your posts
    a little bit more interesting.
